Wonderfully Made

Jump

I knew it wasn’t Everest, but it sure seemed high to me

And though barely five years old, I shimmied up that tree

Halfway up I looked down, it seemed a mile away

I still recall the fear I felt, like it was yesterday

Daddy came running when he heard my cry

And he told me as his arms opened wide

Jump! Jump I will catch you, I will not let you

Slip through my arm, oh oh oh oh Jump!

Don’t think about it, don’t ever doubt it

There’s no need to fear I’m standing right here

Jump

Today I’m still climbing, reaching for my dreams

Even through I’m older now, there’s still a child in me

And I have these moments, every know and then

It seems I’m all by myself stuck out on a limb

But there’s a father up in heaven who hears my cry

And he tells me as his arms open wide

Jump! Jump I will catch you, I will not let you

Slip through my arm, oh oh oh oh Jump!

Don’t think about it, don’t ever doubt it

There’s no need to fear I’m standing right here

Jump

Where Angels Sing

When love is faithful strong and true

When the breath of life is given you

When flowers bloom in early spring

That’s the time in heaven when the angels sing

Where angels sing above the blue

The promise of a world that’s new

And tear dimmed eyes no more will be

Where the angels sing for you and me

Be a shining light as you pass through

Remember the promise he gave to you

Hold to his word trust everything

Live forever in heaven where the angels sing

Where angels sing above the blue

The promise of a world that’s new

And tear dimmed eyes no more will be

Where the angels sing for you and me

I Love to Play Outside

My house is warm and cozy there’s a blanket on my bed

There’s a bathroom with a shower where I scrub and wash my head

Lots of good stuff in the kitchen lots of books that I can read

There are times when I get restless and there’s someting else I need

I like to play outside where there are trees that I can climb

Places I can hide and bicycles to ride

Running barefoot through the green grass laying on my back looking at the sky

I like to play outside

I can follow flying butterflies and hear the crickets creak

Sail a pirate ship upon the lake and climb the highest peak

I can run until my legs get tired and then I run some more

Then I hear my mama calling me and I can run no more

I like to play outside where there are trees that I can climb

Places I can hide and bicycles to ride

Running barefoot through the green grass laying on my back looking at the sky

I like to play outside

The Love of God

The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.
The love of God, how rich and free!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure—
The saints’ and angels’ song.

The years of time shall pass away,
And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
When men who hear refuse to pray,
On rocks and hills and mountains call,
God’s love so sure, shall still endure,
All measureless and strong;
Redeeming grace to Adam’s race—
The saints’ and angels’ song.
The love of God, how rich and free!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure—
The saints’ and angels’ song.

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.
The love of God, how rich and free!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure—
The saints’ and angels’ song.

Greenbeans in the Garden

Daddy was a farmer he worked from dawn to dusk

In the hot hay field a shucking them cornhusks

He never worried about money just said we’ll make it through

That was one thing about daddy he knew just what to do

Mama sure loved my daddy she raised 8 rowdy kids

She milked a cow named Dolly and plowed with a horse called Sid

Daddy at times seemed sorry for all of the hard work

But mama said not to worry we’ve got alot to be thankful for

‘Cause there’s green beans in the garden clean clothes on the line

Yeah there’s little barefoot children playing beneath the grape vine

The sun is shining bright and the creek’s a bubblin’ too

We’ve got alot to be thankful for and Lord I want to thank you

They’ve called us kids hillbillies and I guess that it was true

We climbed trees so high and never wore our shoes

One day my brother Trevor found a snake in the wood stack

He threw it on Sarah Kathryn then Daddy took Trevor out back

‘Cause there’s green beans in the garden clean clothes on the line

Yeah there’s little barefoot children playing beneath the grape vine

The sun is shining bright and the creek’s a bubblin’ too

We’ve got alot to be thankful for and Lord I want to thank you

Well people often ask us what keeps our family tight

They think it’s a hard task to feed ten folks each night

I’ve never heard mama complain just look at daddy and say

Our lives are full of love, and we share it every day

‘Cause there’s green beans in the garden clean clothes on the line

Yeah there’s little barefoot children playing beneath the grape vine

The sun is shining bright and the creek’s a bubblin’ too

We’ve got alot to be thankful for and Lord I want to thank you

Because He Lives

God sent his son

They called him Jesus

He came to love

Heal and forgive

He lived and died

To buy my pardon

An empty grave

Is there to prove

My Savior lives

Because he lives

I can face tomorrow

Because he lives

All fear is gone

Because I know

He holds the future

And life is worth the living

Just because he lives

How sweet to hold

A newborn baby

And feel the pride

And joy he gives

But greater still

The calm assurance

This child can face

Uncertain days

Just Because he lives

And then one day

I’ll cross the river

I’ll fight life’s final war with pain

And then as death

Gives way to victory

I’ll see the lights

Of glory and

I’ll know he lives

Ol’ Slewfoot

High on a mountain top tell me what do you see?

Bear tracks bear tracks looking back at me

Better get your rifle before it’s too late

Bear’s got a little pig and heading for the gate

He’s big around the middle and he’d broad across the rump

Running 90 miles and hour taking 30 feet a jump

He’s never been caught and he’s never been treed

Some folks say he looks alot like me

Saved up my money and I bought me some bees

Started making honey way up in the trees

Cut down the trees but the honeys all gone

Ol’ slewfoot done make himself at home

He’s big around the middle and he’d broad across the rump

Running 90 miles and hour taking 30 feet a jump

He’s never been caught and he’s never been treed

Some folks say he looks alot like me

Winters coming on and it’s forty below

Rivers frozen over so where can he go

Chase him in the gully and run him in the well

Shoot him in the bottom and we’ll listen to him yell

He’s big around the middle and he’d broad across the rump

Running 90 miles and hour taking 30 feet a jump

He’s never been caught and he’s never been treed

Some folks say he looks alot like me

Wonderfully Made

I will praise you O God with all of my heart

For I am fearfully and wonderfully made

I am fearfully and wonderfully made

In my mothers womb you knitted me and formed my inward parts

My precious eyes my little toes my tiny beating heart

I am intricately woven by your mighty hand

Each and every part of me was in your perfect plan

And I will praise you O God with all of my heart

For I am fearfully and wonderfully made

I am fearfully and wonderfully made

In your book were written all the days ordained for me

You knew every breath I’d take before I came to be

How precious are your thoughts of me my soul knows very well

You put me in this place on earth your purpose to fufill

I will praise you O God with all of my heart

For I am fearfully and wonderfully made

I am fearfully and wonderfully made

Living in this broken world we are the least of these

Sent to be a blessing to our earthly families

Made in his image we’re his children just the same

Born to serve a purpose to bring glory to his name

I will praise you O God with all of my heart

For I am fearfully and wonderfully made

I am fearfully and wonderfully made
